TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR FUNDING, APPLICANTS MUST SATISFY THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:


  • 1. Commitment to Social Change: We prioritize organizations dedicated to addressing and rectifying the root causes of injustice in their communities. Our focus is on altering the conditions, institutions, and policies that perpetuate inequality and oppression.


  • 2. Cross-Issue Organizing: Our grantees understand the interconnectivity of various people and issues within the community, working across different areas to create a holistic impact


  • 3. Grassroots Leadership: We support organizations that actively involve those directly affected by the issues in all organizational aspects, including planning, organizing, leading, and fostering ongoing grassroots leadership development.


  • 4. Solid Plan and Budget:

    • - A clear, well-defined purpose with structured goals, objectives, and activities, along with tools for measuring outcomes and impact.

    • - A timeline and budget that align with the proposed objectives and activities.

    • - A feasible fundraising strategy.

    • - Organizations should have annual expenses from the previous year under $500,000.

  • These criteria ensure that our funding supports impactful, community-driven, and sustainable initiatives.
